Sophia's Boutique provides full store credit ONLY on regular priced items.
Cash & credit card refunds are not available.
All products on sale are FINAL SALE and not returnable.
Eligibility: Returns are accepted for regular-priced items only. Items purchased with discount codes or on sale are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return.
Return Window: You have 5 days from the date of delivery to request a return for eligible items
Return Authorization: To initiate a return, please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Returns without an RA# will not be accepted.
Condition of Items: Returned items must be in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, and with all tags and packaging intact. Items that are laundered, smoked in, perfumed, stained, have deodorant marks, or show signs of wear will not be accepted.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to the address provided with the RA#.
Refused Returns: If a return is refused, the item will be sent back to you at your expense. If re-delivery is refused, a 50% restocking fee will be deducted from the refundable store credit amount.
Cancellations
Order Cancellation: Due to our commitment to prompt order processing, orders cannot be canceled once placed, as they are processed immediately.
Backorders: If you wish to cancel a backordered item, a 15% cancellation fee will apply. Please contact customer service for more information on backorders.
International Orders
Duties and Taxes: International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes associated with their purchase.
Please note that while many of our designers cover customs and duties fees, this is not guaranteed for all items. For further clarification, please contact our customer service team.
Return Shipping: Sophia’s Boutique does not reimburse return shipping charges or any taxes/duties incurred. We are not liable for merchandise lost due to international shipment. Please contact your country’s customs and duty department for additional charges not covered by Sophia’s Boutique.
Price Match Policy
Eligibility: If you find a lower price for any non-sale dress that we carry online prior to placing an order, we will match and beat that price. The price match must be from a Canadian-based authorized retailer and must be an online advertised price. The item must be in stock in the size and color you are ordering and available for immediate shipping.
Exclusions: Price matches cannot be made after a purchase has been completed. This offer is not valid if the dress is shown as “sale,” “clearance,” “special,” or on an auction site. Shipping charges will be considered when evaluating the lower price. This offer cannot be combined with any other discount, coupon, or special offer. Special order items do not apply.
Final Sale: Any price-matched item will follow our sale policy and is considered non-returnable.
Sizing Guidance
Each designer tends to have a specific size guide, and not all designers follow standard sizing charts. We highly recommend reviewing the size guide listed for the specific designer dress brand of your choice before making your special occasion dress purchase. As a general rule, when in doubt between sizes, always choose the larger size. It’s easier to take a dress in than to add width.
Chargeback Policy

Fraudulent Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without valid grounds, especially after receiving goods or services as described, constitutes chargeback fraud. This is not only unethical but also illegal. Under various laws, including those pertaining to wire fraud and credit card fraud and theft, individuals found guilty of such actions may face severe penalties, including fines and imprisonment .
Consequences of Chargeback Fraud
Engaging in chargeback fraud can lead to:
• Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action against individuals who file fraudulent chargebacks. This may include reporting the incident to law enforcement agencies and seeking restitution through civil courts.
• Credit Implications: Fraudulent chargebacks can negatively impact your credit score and banking relationships, potentially leading to account closures and difficulties obtaining credit in the future .
Threats and Coercion
Threatening to file a chargeback or post negative reviews to coerce Sophia’s Boutique into altering its established policies is considered an act of bad faith. Such behavior undermines the trust between customers and businesses and will not be tolerated.
